Phoned this morning at 8:20 they said exactly as reported above. I told the gentleman he should be ashamed of what he was doing, that his mother would be very dissapointed in what he was doing and that he should go away and pray for forgiveness. He went very quiiet, so i put the phone down.same happened a month ago i was suspicious and contacted my phone provider they new nothing about any work and told me to ignore any similar calks.

Received numerous calls to my landline from 07900 340325 - Asian men saying they were from BT Openreach and they were working on the broadband service at my local exchange. They asked me to check my router and say how many lights were on, and presumably after that they would have wanted to access my computer. I asked what router and what exchange and they just hung up. When I rang back the number from another phone, it just said it was switched off. When I checked with my provider, they said it was a scam, so it has now been reported to Action Fraud.
