Claiming to be from my broadband supplier, whoI left several months ago!They rang at 07:50 am!

The woman who rang me knew my name. She said she was calling about my life insurance policy with AXA. When I told her I'd never had a life insurance policy with AXA or anyone else she said; "sorry, I'll have that removed". When I checked the number on 1471 and rang it back, a message, in an American accent, told me that 'this number is not currently in service'. I then rang my telephone provider who told me that it was a scam and that there could, potentially be charges for calling back any number from a scam caller.

Told me they were ringing about a life insu rance policy. Told them that since its Assurance and not insurance they obviously don't know what they're talking about and hung up. They said the company was called The Review Team. A quick search reveiled this company is disolved and should not be trading.
